We specialize in residential roofing and exterior projects, including asphalt, cedar, slate, tile, and specialty systems. As we expand our neighborhood marketing efforts, we’re hiring Canvassers / Appointment Setters to help homeowners schedule free inspections with our expert sales team.
This is an outdoor, field‑based canvassing role focused on starting conversations and setting appointments, not closing sales.
You will work in targeted residential neighborhoods, walking door‑to‑door, introducing homeowners to Custom Installations, and scheduling free roof inspections for qualified homeowners.

What You’ll Be Doing
Walk assigned neighborhoods and speak with homeowners door‑to‑door
Schedule inspection appointments at specific dates and times
Enter leads immediately into our CRM using a mobile device
Communicate with the team regarding daily progress and updates
Represent the Custom Installations brand professionally at all times
Follow provided talking points and training guidelines
Schedule & Physical Requirements
Spring / Summer Canvassing Hours
Monday‑Thursday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday & Sunday: As needed
This Role Requires
Walking and standing for multiple hours per shift
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Consistent attendance during afternoon and evening hours
Compensation and Incentives
Hourly pay + commission
2 % commission on completed sales generated from your appointments
Bonus opportunities for service plan sign‑ups
$200/month vehicle allowance after 30 days
Ongoing coaching and advancement opportunities

Comfortable walking and working outdoors for extended periods
Friendly, confident communicator
Dependable and coachable
Available afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
Prior canvassing, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience is a plus (not required)
