Position Summary The Promontory Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support the daily golf operation at The Hills Course.
The Assistant Golf Professional will assist in supervising associates, interns, shop attendants, outside service personnel, and seasonal staff. Responsibilities include supporting daily golf operations, tournament execution, merchandising, and delivering exceptional service to members and their guests. This position reports to the Head Golf Professional.

Experience Required Class A PGA Professional or PGA Associate working toward membership preferred. Two years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist with the supervision, training, and mentoring of PGA interns, outside service personnel, and golf shop attendants
Provide exceptional service and professional assistance to members and guests
Assist with the planning and execution of club tournaments and golf events
Support the daily operation of the golf shop including merchandising, displays, and inventory management
Maintain the overall presentation and cleanliness of the golf shop, practice facilities, and outside service operations
Assist with merchandise sales, member special orders, and vendor relationships
Help protect and manage the assets of the Promontory golf operation
Utilize NorthStar POS and tee sheet systems to manage daily play
Assist members with the GHIN handicap system
Maintain a professional appearance and represent Promontory in a first-class manner at all times
Perform other reasonable responsibilities as assigned by the Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf, or immediate supervisor
