Position Title:
Estate and Trust Administration Paralegal
The Estate and Trust Administration Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s estate planning and tax planning practice. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage various administrative tasks related to probate and trust administration. Daily responsibilities include drafting documents and maintaining client files while collaborating with attorneys and court clerks. Estate And Trust Administration Paralegal Responsibilities
Assist with probate and trust administration
Prepare and file inventories and accountings
Draft documents such as correspondence, real estate deeds, business transfer documents, certificates of trust, and probate and trust pleadings
Help clients with trust funding issues
Draft funding transfer documents under attorney supervision
Maintain firm templates
Work with attorneys, court clerks, and auditors
Track deadlines and suspense dates
Answer non-legal client questions
Act as liaison between client and attorney
Maintain client files
Estate And Trust Administration Paralegal Requirements
2+ years of Trust & Estate Administration experience as a paralegal
High school diploma
Proficiency in Word and Outlook
Bachelor's degree is preferred
