Overview
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GOLF INSTRUCTION
Deliver engaging private and group instruction to Members and guests of all skill levels.
Continuously evolve as an instructor by staying current with modern teaching methods, technologies, and philosophies to ensure an elite coaching experience.
Build strong instructional relationships that enhance Member enjoyment and long-term development.
GOLF SHOP & RETAIL OPERATIONS
Lead and support Golf Shop Associates through hands‑on training, mentorship, and service leadership.
Set the tone for exceptional hospitality by providing knowledgeable, attentive service to all Members and guests.
Conduct monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy in receiving, billing, and merchandising.
Manage ordering, receiving, and pricing for assigned vendors with attention to detail and brand standards.
TOURNAMENT & EVENT OPERATIONS
Plan, organize, and execute weekly events, leagues, major tournaments, and special golf experiences.
Collaborate with other club departments to ensure seamless, polished execution of all golf‑related events.
Work closely with Member Services and Go Ki... to align schedules, communications, and promotions within the Club Calendar and Seasonal Guides.
CLUB FITTING & EQUIPMENT EXPERTISE
Conduct professional club fittings in the absence of the Director of Club Fitting, optimizing equipment for each Member's game.
Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on the latest equipment, fitting technologies, and industry innovations.
PACE OF PLAY & ON‑COURSE PRESENCE
Maintain a visible, professional presence on the golf course to support an efficient and enjoyable pace of play.
Independently manage pace‑of‑play responsibilities as assigned by the Head Golf Professional.
Utilize clear, confident communication to resolve on‑course challenges quickly and effectively.
PRACTICE FACILITY & STARTER OPERATIONS
Serve as a welcoming host for Members and guests upon arrival, creating a first‑class experience from the first interaction.
Provide leadership and support to Golf Services Associates as needed.
Ensure tee sheet accuracy for billing and accounting purposes.
Deliver personalized service, golf insight, and swing advice whenever opportunities naturally arise.
COURSE SETUP & MAINTENANCE COLLABORATION
Collaborate with the Grounds team by providing feedback on course setup and playing conditions.
Assist in daily course setup, ensuring tees, pin placements, and on‑course amenities meet Cassique standards of excellence.
PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Maintain a high level of playing ability and represent Cassique in regional and national events, including pro‑ams.
Engage with Members on the golf course when schedules allow to foster meaningful relationships.
Obtain or maintain PGA Class A Membership in a timely manner, with ongoing education encouraged.
Pursue leadership and service opportunities through CPGA involvement, PGA HOPE, and other philanthropic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
PGA or LPGA Membership or Level Progress (preferred)
Experience working as a Golf Professional at a high‑end private club
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public‑speaking skills
Strong knowledge of modern golf equipment and instructional technology
Proven commitment to service excellence and operational detail
Confidence leading groups, events, and Member‑facing experiences
Preferred software experience:

Microsoft Office
TrackMan, V1, and/or Swing Catalyst
