Overview
The Assistant Golf Professional assists in all aspects of the golf operation, including golf shop management, tournament operations, Annual Passholder services, instruction, merchandising, and daily facility operations. This role plays an important part in delivering an exceptional golf experience for Annual Passholders and guests while supporting the Head Golf Professional in maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service to Annual Passholders and guests
Manage daily tee sheet and check-in operations
Operate and manage the golf shop point-of-sale system
Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and retail displays
Support planning and execution of tournaments and outings
Provide golf instruction, clinics, and junior programs as needed
Perform starter and ranger duties when required
Assist with practice facility setup and maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and staging areas
Communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff
Support club events, leagues and golf programs
Enforce club policies, rules, and dress code
