Senior Level Public Relations Specialist

ProSidian seeks a Senior Level Public Relations Specialist for program support on an exempt 1099 contract: no overtime pay basis contract Contingent located CONUS - Charlotte, NC across the Mid Atlantic Region supporting strategic delivery of Government and Public Services Sector Human Capital Solutions through temporary help services and recruiting/staff augmentation capabilities for the City of Charlotte (COC).

Seeking Senior Level Public Relations Specialist candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector clients such as COC. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Public Relations Specialist Functional Area Professional - Staffing Augmentation and Recruiting Services position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.

Provide services and support as a Staffing Augmentation and Recruiting Services (Senior Level Public Relations Specialist) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) | Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) generally located in CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (of country/world).

Responsibilities and duties - Senior Level Public Relations Specialist | Public Relations Specialist (COC0077076):

  • Draft press materials and fact sheets.
  • Maintain media contact databases.
  • Assist with event preparation and logistics.
  • Coordinate press kit assembly and distribution.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports.

Desired qualifications for Senior Level Public Relations Specialist | Public Relations Specialist (COC0077076) candidates:

  • Knowledge of PR processes and tools.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's in communications or related field preferred.
  • 12 years' administrative or PR support experience.

Skills required:

  • Writing, organization, scheduling.

Competencies required:

  • Professionalism, adaptability, attention to detail.

Ancillary details of the roles:

  • May liaise with vendors for promotional materials.
