JOB SUMMARY:
To carry out the philosophy of the theater program of the Ladue School District.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
COMPENSATION:
Stipend amount ranges from $3,186 - $3,980 based on the 2025-26 Stipend Ranges. This will be updated when the 2026-27 Stipend Ranges are established. Actual amount will be based on verified prior similar experience.

Spring Musical Technical Director
JOB SUMMARY:
To carry out the philosophy of the theater program of the Ladue School District.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Mentor and supervise set crew students with building the Spring Musical sets.
- Mentor and supervise sound and lighting students with designing and executing those designs for both the Spring Musical.
- Be present for all shows (February for Spring Musical) to support student needs.
- Mentor and supervise props crew on building, buying, and finding props for Spring Musical.
- Knowledge of Vectorworks or other software programs for designing sets and/or lighting.
- Mentor and supervise stage management team.
- Experience in teaching preferred.
- Missouri Teacher Certification preferred.
- Degree in theater with focus on technical theater or stage management preferred.
- Eligibility for Missouri Substitute Certification required.
- Successful completion of SafeSchool training after hire.
- An FBI Fingerprint/Background Check will be required of all non-district employees who are recommended for stipend positions.
