About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimating & Sales Specialist professional to join our team. This hybrid role combines material estimating, quoting, and client relationship management, playing a critical part in both pre-construction and sales processes.
You will work closely with customers, sales representatives, and project managers to develop accurate estimates, provide timely quotes, and support project success from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both analytical and client-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform material takeoffs from architectural drawings and construction documents
Prepare detailed and accurate project quotes based on scope, specifications, and pricing
Communicate with customers to provide quotes, product information, and project guidance
Actively pursue sales through calls, emails, and outreach
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Collaborate with sales and design teams to recommend products and solutions
Manage quote revisions, change orders, and bid deadlines
Enter and maintain project data in Salesforce, Smartsheet, and internal systems
Work with project managers on material takeoffs for awarded projects
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with Bluebeam required; familiarity with Revit, CAD, or On-Screen Takeoff preferred
Experience with Salesforce and/or Smartsheet is beneficial
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Full-time (40+ hours per week)
Office hours typically between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility available)
