Sales Coordinator Job Summary: As a Sales Coordinator at AA Metals, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, and providing excellent customer service to clients. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the company. Manage a portfolio of house accounts to meet or exceed annual sales targets, with a budget responsibility of 1.5 million lbs. Manage the end-to-end order processing workflow, including order quoting, quote follow up, order entry, verification, and coordination with customers, sales and other departments to ensure seamless order execution. Accurately review and approve sales orders entered by other sales representatives, ensuring completeness and compliance with company standards. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, customer interactions, and related documentation in the company's CRM and database systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty. Provide coverage for Account Managers and Sales Management when needed. Maintain and update the customer database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer information. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure product availability for incoming orders. Identify aged and non-stock inventory and prepare targeted offers for the sales team Track and analyze sales data, prepare sales reports, and provide regular updates to customers, sales team and management. (Inventory reports, open sales order reports, etc…) Collaborate with the sales team to generate sales leads . Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential sales opportunities and provide feedback to the sales team and management Sales Coordinator Required Skills/Abilities: ·Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. ·Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. ·Familiarity with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. ·Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable. Previous experience in sales administration preferred. Competency with Microsoft Office products and sales software. Ability to grow into an Inside Sales role within 1-2 years of being a Sales Coordinator. Sales Coordinator Education and Experience: ·Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred. ·Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably within the metals or manufacturing industry. ·Knowledge of the metal industry and its products (steel, aluminum, etc.) is highly desirable ·Excellent organizational and time management skills ·Strong attention to detail and accuracy ·High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel ·Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite ·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills ·Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment ·Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities ·Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and should not be interpreted as a comprehensive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
