Sales Operation Specialist

Position Summary This position will work closely with existing Sales personnel to help manage daily tasks such as Frozen Inventory management, Production Coordination with various plant personnel, Halal production management, and a variety of Customer Service functions.
Essential Functions
Collaborate daily with VPGC Sales personnel to ensure the best customer service possible.
Confirm Customer Purchase Orders (POs), perform order entry, generate daily backorder reports, and confirm daily invoicing.
Audit and approve outside warehouse invoices.
Create daily Cold Storage Inventory reports.
Maintain a working knowledge of current and desired product inventory.
Maintain a working knowledge of current turkey commodity markets.
Meet with customers during visits to VPGC facilities.
Work with the Sales/Scheduling Coordinator to establish a daily plan for available products.
Provide backup support to the Sales/Scheduling Coordinator as needed.

Experience Three to five years of related experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and database applications.
Comfortable using the Internet for research and communication.
Physical Demands Weight Lift / Carry: Occasionally (up to 33% of the time), 10 lbs or less. Stand: Occasionally. Walk: Occasionally. Sit: Constantly (more than 66% of the time).
