Digital Asset Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Digital Asset Coordinator (5+ years) to manage, organize, update, edit, and archive digital assets for the Marketing Creative Services team. This role will support and enhance the organization’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem, including modernization and migration initiatives (e.g., DAM to enterprise DAM/EDAM platforms). The ideal candidate will ensure proper metadata governance, provide system support to users, and maintain accurate tracking of asset usage and licensing. This position requires strong judgment, initiative, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of Digital Asset Management systems (DAM), including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related platforms Enhance discoverability of digital assets by applying accurate and consistent metadata aligned with business guidelines Oversee the full lifecycle of digital assets, including selection, ingestion, governance, maintenance, and archiving Support DAM modernization and migration initiatives, including asset preparation, metadata alignment, ingestion standards, validation, and workflow readiness Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for DAM systems; maintain documentation, procedures, and policies Contribute to process improvements, testing, training, and end-user support Identify opportunities to improve metadata consistency and lifecycle management Organize and maintain a wide range of assets including photography, video, campaign assets, stock images, logos, and design files Act as the primary point of contact for asset requests from internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors Collaborate with marketing, content, and technical teams to support DAM initiatives and platform enhancements Improve search functionality and asset discoverability within DAM platforms Develop and maintain naming conventions for consistent and efficient asset retrieval Ensure proper labeling, organization, and governance of content across all channels Research and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements to optimize DAM workflows Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM) or related roles Strong experience managing digital asset libraries, including lifecycle management and metadata governance Hands-on experience with content management systems, especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Knowledge of digital file formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, EPS, vector, flattened images) and file optimization techniques Experience working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting DAM migration initiatives (e.g., DAM to EDAM), including asset preparation, metadata alignment, and validation Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including image editing (color correction, retouching, etc.) Understanding of marketing, branding, and creative asset workflows Familiarity with enterprise-level DAM governance and standards Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
