Are you an organized, people-first HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment?
We’re working with a leading natural resources operator looking to bring on an HR Coordinator to support the full spectrum of HR functions across their operations. You’ll be a key connector between employees, leadership, and the Sr. HR Manager — keeping the people side of a complex operation running smoothly and compliantly.
What you’d do:
Own full‑cycle recruitment — job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Facilitate new hire onboarding including offer letters, I‑9s, background checks, and coordination with the safety team for training
Process employee changes, terminations, and status updates in HRIS systems
Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and HR procedures
Assist with employee relations matters including workplace investigations and disciplinary documentation
Track and administer employee leave (FMLA, PTO, ADA) in line with federal, state, and company policy
Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and provider communication
Support HR audits, reporting, compliance documentation, and personnel file maintenance
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, performance review cycles, and HR project work
What you’ve got:
Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
3–5 years of HR experience, ideally within natural resources, energy, industrial, or manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and timekeeping platforms
Strong attention to detail, discretion, and ability to juggle competing priorities
Excellent communication skills and comfort supporting a diverse, field‑based workforce
Experience supporting multi‑site operations is a plus
Valid driver’s license required; must be able to visit field sites periodically
