Date : ASAP Duration : 9 months with potential to extend or convert to FTE Role: We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to serve as O&O’s single point of contact (SPOC), leading in-app artist merchandising purchases end-to-end, including developing strategy, building experiment roadmaps, and coordinating operational support. In this role, you'll drive artist merchandising goals by collaborating with channel managers across owned platforms (including in-app messaging, email, push notifications, landing pages, and browse home) to develop and execute comprehensive testing to drive customer growth (Deliver Results). This role requires strong hypothesis generation to optimize for the best customer experience (Think Big), while balancing the need to drive quality in-app experience (Customer Obsession). This role is tactical with opportunity to automate and streamline existing mechanisms and systems (Invent and Simplify). To be successful in this role, you must be analytical to identify trends and insights across cohorts, placements, and devices (Dive Deep) while partnering closely with product and marketing teams (Earn Trust) to unlock new opportunities for growth. Primary Goal: Accelerate velocity for Artist Merch campaigns and strategy across O&O channels Increase number of unique Client’s Music app listeners (US) who have purchased music merch via Client (mShop or Client’s Music app). Automate marketing workflows and optimize existing mechanisms Key Responsibilities: Lead Campaign Strategy & Execution: Define and execute launch strategies for new artist merchandise, including in-app exclusives, to drive Client’s Music app customer growth and engagement goals. Leverage Client Tools to Develop Channel Strategy and Execution: Develop phasing plan for testing, delivering campaigns for O&O channels, and leveraging data to deliver highly targeted and contextualized experiences. Optimize Messaging & Positioning: Craft compelling, customer-centeric positioning and messaging that educates and engages customers across in-app messaging, email, push, and landing experiences. Collaboration with Music Merch team: Partner with Merch Marketing team to align messaging with fan moments or cultural demand drivers (i.e., tour, festivals, new albums) Experimentation & Optimization: Own experiment roadmap, working with channel managers and partner teams to ideate and develop hypotheses to optimize O&O placements to drive higher engagement, sign-ups, and retention. Collaboration with Technical Partners: Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to test hypotheses, identify opportunities for personalization, and develop requirements for automation. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years of professional, non-internship experience in marketing, growth, or product management roles. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from ideation to completion. Proven ability to develop and execute GTM strategies that drive customer adoption across the customer lifecycle. Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting large data sets and making data-informed decisions. Comfort working closely with engineers, data scientists, and PMs to bring technical products to market. Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with marketing in retail, eCommerce or mobile apps. Familiarity with lifecycle marketing across push, email, and in-app messaging. Experience with marketing platforms (Braze, Iterable, Swrve, Adobe, Localytics etc.) Experience with data tools (Excel, Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot, Quicksight). Experience marketing products across Android, iOS, desktop, and connected devices. Knowledge of experimentation frameworks and performance metrics. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
