Overview We are a growth‑oriented firm seeking an

Architectural Production Associate

to support and strengthen our digital design and documentation practice across a variety of projects. This role is integral to translating design concepts into

coordinated, accurate, and high‑quality construction documents , while ensuring consistency in BIM and CAD workflows throughout the project lifecycle. The Architectural Production Associate works closely with architects, project managers, and technical staff to support model coordination, documentation standards, and efficient digital project delivery. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment with a strong service mindset and a proactive approach to quality and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities Production & Documentation

Develop and refine architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documentation.

Produce coordinated Revit models and drawing sets aligned with firm standards.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and constructability of all project documentation.

Digital Coordination

Support consistent and effective use of BIM and CAD tools across assigned projects.

Assist in maintaining documentation standards, model organization, and digital workflows.

Collaborate with consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, and civil information into coordinated models.

Quality & Compliance

Review drawings for quality control and adherence to internal standards.

Conduct research on applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements.

Support compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.

Project Support

Assist project managers with documentation schedules and production milestones.

Participate in coordination meetings and track technical action items.

Perform Job Captain duties when assigned.

Technology & Innovation

Demonstrate interest in advancing skills in rendering, 3D modeling, building scanning, BIM coordination, and emerging AI applications.

Contribute ideas to improve production efficiency, quality, and digital collaboration.

Qualifications Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural production or construction documentation.

Architectural licensure preferred or actively pursuing licensure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.

Advanced degree preferred.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Revit required.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Experience with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360) preferred.

Familiarity with Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MI.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $48.00/hr.
