
Portfolio Analyst (Core Bond Team)

A leading corporate credit investment team is seeking a Portfolio Analyst. This opportunity offers the chance to work directly with a highly regarded Portfolio Manager, a flexible investment mandate, and significant upside potential.

Key Responsibilities
Support the portfolio management team with a focus on ongoing portfolio oversight, including cash management, duration positioning, sector allocation, yield objectives, and thematic implementation aligned with firm and team perspectives.
Take an active role in executing trades and conducting compliance reviews for new issues, secondary market transactions, and daily inflows/outflows.
Partner closely with research analysts to identify, evaluate, and track credit opportunities, and work with traders to facilitate the execution of investment ideas.
Oversee performance attribution and deliver detailed analyses to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key drivers of relative performance across Core Bond strategies.
Build, enhance, and maintain analytical models and monitoring tools that strengthen the portfolio management process.
Qualifications
Demonstrates initiative, accountability, meticulous attention to detail, and a consistently positive, self-driven mindset.
Approaches investing with curiosity and brings strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
Possesses robust analytical and quantitative abilities, including advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau is an added advantage.
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative environment, maintaining a committed, "roll‑up‑your‑sleeves" attitude.
Ideally brings three to seven years of relevant, hands‑on experience.
