Job Summary
Entertainment Advertising Specialist supports the corporate live entertainment team by managing marketing timelines, coordinating creative assets from agencies, and distributing standardized marketing plans to property teams. This role ensures that event announcements, campaign launches, and promotional strategies are executed consistently and on schedule across multiple properties. The Specialist serves as the central point of organization between booking agencies, corporate leadership, and on-property marketing teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Announcement & Timeline Management
Develop and maintain announcement timelines for all corporate bookings
Coordinate internal approvals prior to public announcements
Ensure all properties adhere to any embargo dates and artist marketing requirements
Track key milestones including announce, on-sale, promotional launches, and media drops
Agency Asset Coordination
Request and collect approved artist assets from agencies (photos, logos, video, copy points, social tags, etc.)
Ensure all materials meet brand standards and contractual requirements
Organize and distribute asset packages to property marketing teams
Maintain centralized archive of show materials and approvals
Marketing Plan Development & Distribution
Assist in building standardized marketing plans for each event
Provide property teams with clear promotional direction including:
Target audiences
Media mix recommendations
Promotional cadence
Social messaging guidance
VIP or experiential callouts
Ensure alignment between corporate strategy and local execution
Cross-Property Coordination
Serve as liaison between corporate entertainment and property marketing teams
Host or support recurring planning calls related to upcoming announcements
Monitor execution milestones and confirm launch readiness across properties
Identify gaps or risks and elevate appropriately
Campaign Tracking & Reporting
Track announce performance and marketing launch compliance
Compile weekly status updates across markets
Support post-event marketing recaps
Maintain master marketing calendar for all properties
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in marketing, communications or related area; experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail, and social media; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in live entertainment a plus
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)
Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
