April 5, 2026 SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Associate Principal leads the systems and structures that ensure a safe, organized, and student-centered school environment. This role is focused on operational excellence, student supports, and the seamless execution of schoolwide programs so that teaching and learning remain the core priority. As a pivotal member of the school leadership team, this role provides comprehensive oversight of student management systems including behavior, attendance, 504 plans, and student support initiatives to ensure all processes are consistent, compliant, and designed to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Beyond administrative systems, the Associate Principal is a champion of the student experience, coordinating athletics and co-curricular programs while leading the planning and execution of major school events to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging campus culture. This leader manages essential building operations, campus supervision, and facility use in collaboration with internal and external partners to maintain an environment conducive to academic excellence. Furthermore, by overseeing key programs such as Freshman Advisory and Summer School, the Associate Principal drives schoolwide initiatives that strengthen student connection and belonging, working collaboratively across departments to align systems, streamline processes, and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Searching for a collaborative leader with proven instructional leadership, team building and facilitation of student and staff growth skills, a strong background in technology, and fostering inclusive school cultures. Excellent communication skills with students, staff, families, and community partners. Appropriate valid Illinois PEL with Administrator Endorsement (PRIN or GA) and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field is required. Application Procedure:
