Our client is seeking a hands‑on
Agronomist
to join their team working directly with crop production and field management. This role is ideal for someone who has real farming experience or on‑farm agronomy experience and enjoys spending time both in the field and working with agronomic data.
This position will play a key role in supporting crop production through soil sampling, field scouting, and agronomic data management, while helping drive strong yields and efficient farm operations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct soil sampling and field scouting across multiple farm locations
Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and overall field performance
Collect and organize agronomic data using Excel and other computer software
Maintain accurate records of field observations, sampling results, and recommendations
Assist with agronomy planning and crop input decisions
Work closely with farm management to support day‑to‑day crop production operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or related field
Prior farming background or on‑farm agronomy experience required
Strong understanding of crop production and soil management
Comfortable working outdoors in field environments
Strong computer skills, including Excel and data tracking
Self‑motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple field locations
