Responsibilities The Communications Specialist supports our internal and external communications efforts. The role is responsible for crafting clear, engaging content, supporting media outreach, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread content for internal and external communications.
Support the implementation of communication strategies that promote organizational objectives.
Assist with internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
Assist with corporate award nominations and submissions.
Help develop materials such as talking points, FAQs, presentations, and email campaigns.
Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and public perception; prepare reports and summaries as needed.
Assist with media outreach, press inquiries, and maintaining media lists.
Collaborate with design, marketing, and other departments to produce aligned content and campaigns.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and content management systems
Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail

Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
Qualifications 1-3 years of related experience
Does this position require a valid Drivers License? No
Education Level General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
