A growing fashion-focused organization is seeking a Designer specializing in soft wovens. This role will support the development of seasonal collections, contributing to the overall aesthetic, fabrication choices, and construction details within the soft woven category.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of soft woven styles from concept through final sample. Support the creation of sketches, tech packs, and relevant design materials as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to help ensure design intent is maintained through development and production. Research trends, fabrics, and details within the woven space to help inform seasonal concepts. Contribute to maintaining organization of samples, swatches, and reference materials. General Qualifications:
Background or strong interest in apparel design, with a focus on wovens or related categories. Ability to translate ideas into clear visuals and communicate design intent. Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Strong attention to detail and an eye for fabric, drape, and construction.
