A growing financial services firm is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This role supports a regulated brokerage platform and partners closely with leadership on financial reporting, regulatory filings, and accounting across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
Oversee key accounting and financial reporting processes across regulated financial entities, including broker-dealer operations.
Support broker-dealer regulatory reporting, including preparation and review of FOCUS reports and Net Capital (15c3-1) calculations.
Ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA regulatory requirements, including Rule 15c3-1.
Assist with the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services or public accounting.
Experience working at or supporting a broker-dealer, ideally within a self-clearing environment.
Familiarity with FOCUS reporting and Net Capital (15c3-1) calculations.
