Summary The Seahawks Digital Marketing Products Internship is a hands‑on program designed to develop digital marketing professionals in the sports industry. The intern will assist the Seattle Seahawks digital marketing team with building automated email, SMS and push notification campaigns. This is a six‑month internship beginning in late July 2026 and ending in late January 2027.

By the end of the internship, and in accordance to their strengths and desire to build their weaknesses, the intern will have the opportunity to have first‑hand experience in digital marketing management, working within digital marketing platforms, best practices for modern‑day digital marketing and more.

The intern will be expected to learn heavily through experience and extensive resources will be available to facilitate the process at the intern’s initiative.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Execute email marketing campaigns with technology partners and optimize based on industry best practices

Be the lead editor and execute Seahawks Insider, Game Recap and The Local email newsletters. Collaborate with the content team to promote top content and increase traffic to Seahawks.com, the mobile app and social media platforms

Project manage and analyze Seahawks promotional campaigns (Team News & Community, Special Offers & Sweepstakes, Pro Shop) to support revenue and engagement growth through personalized 1:1 communications

Be the lead communications account manager for Seahawks Legends, Community Engagement and Seahawks Dancers

Support the Marketing and Business Strategy & Analytics teams with survey initiatives by tracking results and applying insights to campaigns

Fulfill corporate partner email advertising requests and report results. Lead corporate partner digital marketing dashboard development and year‑end recapping

Support digital and corporate partner creative requests, ensuring a connected experience across digital platforms

Assist with platform growth and nurture campaigns designed to complete fan profiles, acquire new subscribers and drive awareness for the season ticket waitlist

Conduct research on new fan development and communication opportunities; share channel applications

Assist with other email, SMS, push notification and campaign deployment duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

Be currently enrolled as a senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible to apply as well

Experience with digital marketing automation systems, Eloqua or other is highly recommended

Strong understanding of email design and experience writing/editing HTML and CSS code

Knowledge of email marketing best practices and relevant regulations including TCPA, ADA, CCPA and GDPR

Ability to work well under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once with great attention to detail

Ability to learn new tools quickly

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to work some non‑traditional hours, weekends and holidays

Interest and experience in the sports industry is a plus

Physical Demands

The employee may need to lift 15 pounds or more

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision

At times, this job may require many hours of sitting, standing and walking including events and on gameday

Work Environment

Indoor work in offices is required

Position may require many hours of sitting, standing or walking including during events and on gameday

Weekend and evening work is required when necessary

Timeframe

This position works 40 hours per week on average
