Technical Interior Designer

We are seeking a Technical Interior Design Manager for management of interior drawing standards for a multifamily design firm. This is inclusive of constructability details, Revit standards, drawing production, and QAQC of all Interior Design drawing deliverables.
Responsibilities
Coach designers on constructability details.
Collaborate with designers, architects, and outside consultants throughout the design and documentation of multifamily and mixed-use projects.
Develop and document interior architectural drawings adhering to drafting principles, detailing, building materials, and codes. Adhere to drawing standards.
Assist in the production of project deliverables and coordinate with the appropriate departments and consultants to ensure compliance in quality, design, and applicable building codes.
Ensure GC has all necessary information to price and build all aspects of interior scope.
Collaborate with designers to review technical shop drawings in CA.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
NCIDQ/RID preferred
5-10 years experience as a member of a design team for multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality projects
Experienced in interior design construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and industry standards.
A team player who possesses a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a high level of professionalism.
Possesses strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Revit.
