Low Voltage Estimator

We are seeking a highly motivated
IT/Low-Voltage Estimator
to join our clients growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for enterprise technology projects, including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, AV, and other low-voltage solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in commercial IT and low-voltage environments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed estimates for enterprise IT and low-voltage projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to develop accurate bids. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to gather information and validate assumptions. Maintain and update estimating databases, pricing, and historical cost records. Analyze project risks and identify potential cost savings opportunities. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and value-engineering discussions. Ensure estimates comply with industry standards and company policies. Qualifications: 3+ years of estimating experience in IT, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or telecommunications. Strong knowledge of commercial building technology systems: structured cabling, data/voice networks, access control, CCTV, AV systems. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret electrical, telecom, and IT drawings and specifications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
