Position Overview
The Executive Recruiter is responsible for recruiting senior-level talent across professional services, including finance, accounting, HR, legal, operations, engineering, and IT. This role operates in a high-performance, client-facing environment, driving both candidate generation and client delivery while building long-term relationships with executives and hiring leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting for executive and senior-level roles across professional services functions
Partner directly with clients to understand hiring needs, organizational structure, and talent strategy
Develop and execute targeted search strategies to identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent
Source passive candidates through networking, referrals, and direct outreach
Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including technical, behavioral, and cultural fit evaluations
Present qualified candidates with detailed insights and recommendations
Manage offer negotiation, closing, and onboarding processes
Build and maintain strong pipelines of high-caliber candidates
Develop long-term relationships with both clients and candidates to drive repeat business
Stay informed on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape
Key Performance Metrics
Time-to-fill and fill ratio
Candidate quality and retention
Client satisfaction and repeat business
Pipeline activity and conversion rates
Qualifications
3–10+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within executive search or professional services staffing
Proven track record of successful placements and revenue generation
Experience recruiting for roles within finance, accounting, HR, legal, or operations
Strong business development and client management skills
Ability to source and engage passive candidates at the executive level
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a performance-based environment
Preferred Experience
Background in retained or contingency executive search
Experience working in a staffing agency or search firm environment
Established network within professional services talent pools
