Dalton is seeking a
Media Planner
to join our dynamic paid media team in Jacksonville supporting a large healthcare account, among others. As a Media Planner, you will play a key role in cross-channel media planning, strategy, implementation and campaign management while maximizing performance for our clients’ business.
What you’ll be doing in the role:
Develop and implement effective media strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives
Hands on with research, strategy, planning, buying, campaign execution, implementation and optimizations
Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, creative and web dev, to implement media recommendations
Stay abreast of industry trends, digital marketing technologies and developments to implement cutting‑edge strategies
Maintain budget control and ensure execution of media plans by authorizing approved media schedules and monitoring buys/schedules
Maintain good rapport with sales representatives and vendors.
Explore media alternatives and be creative in recommending media solutions
Deliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities
Responsible for management of media estimates, insertion orders, billing, and reconciliation
What you’ll bring to the role:
Three (3) years or more experience in Media Planning and Media Strategy
Solid analytical skills to interpret and act on data insights for optimizing campaigns
Interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and engaging with clients
Proficiency in utilizing media planning tools and software
Experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
Nice to haves:
Digital media planning, campaign execution and management of Google Ads (includes paid search, YouTube, Pmax, Demand Gen, GDN, etc.) Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, display/video, etc.
Experience in web site tagging and Google Tag Manager
Knowledge of FreshPaint, Google Analytics, GA4 and SEM Rush (Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications are a plus)
