
Health & Benefits Sales Professional

We are seeking experienced Health & Benefits Sales Professionals to join a growing, nationwide mid‑market employee‑benefit sales team. This is a high‑impact, consultative sales role focused on employers with 1,000–5,000 employee lives, with 10 openings across the United States aligned to specific geographic zones.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and grow a large, complex book of mid‑market business, focusing on employers with approximately 1,000–5,000 employee lives
Execute a strategic territory plan, including prospecting, pipeline development, and disciplined follow‑up throughout the full brokerage sales cycle
Lead complex consultative sales efforts from initial outreach through close, including pricing negotiations and final presentations
Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that clearly communicate value and differentiated solutions
Build and deepen relationships with HR leaders and C‑suite executives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on employee benefits and health & benefits strategy
Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities across the broader benefits offering
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, high client satisfaction, and retention of a profitable book of business
Participate in professional and industry organizations, conferences, and regional events to expand your network and stay current on market trends
Target Profile
True mid‑market sales experience, with a proven track record selling to employers with 1,000–5,000 employee lives
Demonstrated success in a broker‑style, consultative sales environment with complex, multi‑stakeholder decision processes
Strong experience managing and growing a meaningful book of business in the employee benefits or health & benefits consulting
What You Need to Have
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience selling employee benefits or health & benefits consulting services
Proven success selling to companies in the 1,000–5,000 employee benefit space (lives = employees)
Strong experiential knowledge of employee benefits and health & benefits consulting products, funding strategies, and plan design
Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, lead pricing and financial discussions, and consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.
Established network and the ability to gain and maintain access to C‑suite level executives
