A growing medical device company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager across the Southeast USA to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the region.
This role will lead a team of sales representatives, oversee regional performance, and build strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders. You will play a central role in executing commercial strategy and shaping a high-performing sales culture.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage regional sales activity, ensuring alignment with company objectives Set territory targets and track performance against sales goals Provide product training and strategic sales support to the field team Conduct in-field coaching and support visits with sales representatives Collaborate with product and marketing teams on feedback and positioning Act as interim sales support in open or developing territories Build relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, and hospital stakeholders Support surgeon engagement and drive adoption of new and existing products Represent the company at key conferences, exhibitions, and industry events Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and market expansion Oversee regional budget, including travel and expenses Support inventory management across consignment and loan systems
Required Background
5–7+ years' experience in medical device sales or a related field Strong understanding of orthopaedic and/or surgical sales environments Knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile field requirements Experience managing sales performance, forecasting, and analytics Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills Ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels
Preferred Background
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) Advanced degree or industry certifications (advantageous)
Additional Details
Remote role based in Southeast USA Travel required up to 75% Ability to handle surgical instrumentation where required
