Bilingual Chinese or Korean Outside Sales Associate (Des Moines, WA)

A well-established specialty food distributor with nearly 100 years of experience is seeking motivated Outside Sales Associates to drive business growth and build strong client relationships. This on-site role in Des Moines, WA offers the opportunity to work directly with restaurants, retailers, and foodservice businesses while promoting a wide range of specialty food products.

Must-Have Requirements Ability to communicate professionally with clients in Chinese or Korean Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Experience with additional languages is a plus 2+ years of experience in sales and/or food industry Bachelor’s degree or higher Knowledge of specialty foods, beverages, and related products Experience with ERP systems (AS400 preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
Develop new customer accounts and maintain existing relationships Meet monthly and annual sales quotas Visit clients regularly to promote and sell products Educate customers on product offerings and benefits Participate in weekly sales meetings and company events
Customer Service & Account Management
Provide timely communication and support to customers Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely payments Handle urgent delivery requests and customer needs Maintain accurate order and customer data in company systems
Operations & Logistics Support
Coordinate deliveries and order fulfillment with customers Assist with inventory counts (including occasional weekends) Safely operate company vehicle in accordance with policies Support internal processes and cross-functional collaboration
Physical & Work Requirements Ability to drive for extended periods throughout the day Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs occasionally) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment Ability to use phone and communication tools for extended periods Location: Des Moines, WA (On-site only) Employment Type: Full-time Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary Range: $48,000 – $75,000 annually 100% employer-paid Health, Dental, and Vision insurance (including dependents)
