Overview
Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company, is seeking a Service Sales Intern, based out of Billerica, MA.
Rapiscan Systems, an OSI Systems, Inc. company, designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations, and nuclear facilities.
The Service Sales Intern will support our Services and Sales teams through lead generation activities, pipeline support, and customer follow‑up initiatives. This internship is based in Billerica, MA and provides hands‑on exposure to service sales operations, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement processes.
Responsibilities
Support lead generation campaigns by researching target customers, tracking responses, and documenting interest levels.
Conduct initial outreach and follow‑up with customers via email and phone using approved scripts and templates.
Log, track, and update leads and opportunities in Microsoft D365, Excel, and other business systems.
Assist Sales and Service teams by organizing pipeline data and preparing basic reports on lead status and follow‑up activity.
Support Off‑Contract Warranty reviews by identifying customers with expired or expiring coverage and assisting with outreach efforts.
Respond to internal and external requests for information related to services, training, and warranties under supervision.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of customer interactions and next steps.
Assist with administrative and operational tasks that support service revenue growth and customer retention initiatives.

Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
Report quality problems or defects to manager or senior management for corrective action.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor or Master of Science program in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
Strong interest in sales operations, marketing analytics or customer engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, organized, eager to learn.
During the summer of 2026 must reside within daily commuting distance of the site.
Must be able to commit to a 10‑week internship period starting in May or June 2026.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or equivalent such as Google).
Benefits The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job‑related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long‑term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
