Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Non-Union Lead Commercial Carpenter for a full-time, on-site role based in Countryside, IL. This role involves overseeing carpentry projects, working with power and hand tools, performing framing, finish carpentry, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of assigned projects. The Lead Commercial Carpenter will manage job sites, coordinate with team members, maintain safety standards, and communicate effectively with project managers and clients to meet project requirements and expectations.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Carpentry, including both framing and finish carpentry techniques
Proficiency in operating Power Tools and Hand Tools safely and effectively
Experience with Framing and structural carpentry projects
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Proven ability to manage projects and supervise other team members effectively
Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction are a plus
