Resident Experience Coordinator/Concierge

Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm, is seeking a full-time Resident Experience Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN, at $21-$23 an hour. Vertis Green Hills is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing world-class customer service. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills with a flawless attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work independently. The Resident Experience Coordinator is the first impression of the community and will provide superior customer service to our residents. Each day will be unique, requiring an ability to prioritize, multi-task, think creatively, take initiative, and employ a diverse set of skills. You will bring your positive energy to each conversation, resolve issues quickly and effectively, and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. The Resident Experience Manager will be responsible for curating and enhancing the overall resident experience by planning and executing community events while also service as a first point of contact for residents, guests and vendors. This is a hybrid role with 50% of time being allocated to events and the other 50% of time being allocated to concierge/front desk responsibilities. The Resident Experience Coordinator will play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community, increasing resident satisfaction, and contributing to the community's success. Vertis Green Hills, located in one of Nashville's most desirable neighborhoods, is a vibrant 18-story mixed-use community, featuring 310 luxury residential units. Vertis features unbeatable amenities, including 85,000 square-feet of attached dining, wellness and retail experiences, a yoga studio, sky lounge with serene panoramic views, dog park, heated saltwater pool, and outdoor kitchen with gas grills. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate & facilitate all resident programming, duties to include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with the onsite teams to coordinate resident and future resident events consisting; at least 3 to 4 events per month. Lead administrative and logistical tasks such as vendor selection, communicating with onsite teams and vendors, maintaining calendar and all internal planning activities Manage the sourcing of vendors, including gathering quotes, and managing approval processes Coordinate catering and supply orders, pick-ups, deliveries Work closely with marketing and operations team to develop messaging and assist in design creative for each event including flyers and any email communication Prepare onsite teams for event setup Serve as day-of lead for event management, where needed, providing exceptional service, and creating memorable events, and ensuring participant satisfaction Manage follow up with residents to collect feedback, photos, and actual counts to ensure event excellence and continuous improvement Collect resident feedback and encourage reviews on Yelp, Google, Apartments.com etc. Provide courteous, consistent, professional, and knowledgeable customer service with internal and external audiences Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, prospects, and visitors Provide front desk coverage, including greeting guests, answering phones, and handling inquiries Assist residents with service requests, amenity reservations, and local recommendations Maintain a professional, welcoming lobby environment Support package handling, deliveries, and key management as needed Qualifications Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Programs such as: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, to participate in projects, as directed Knowledge of YARDI and Canva are a plus Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Excellent critical thinking and ability to anticipate needs Excellent planning, time/project management, and organization skills Effective problem-solving, calendar and time management Self-motivated, self-starter that possesses the ability to work independently Customer service & interpersonal skills required Interest/passion for hospitality and creativity Ability to prioritize event requests and customer needs, using good judgment and logical thinking. Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and under close deadlines Take initiative and demonstrate follow-through Solutions-oriented and extremely organized Ability to adapt to change, while displaying executive presence while working in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Experience with event management and/or scheduling software, preferred May require local day travel and minimal overnight travel with team Required Education and Preferred Experience High school diploma or GED is preferred. 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or hospitality experience that demonstrates sufficient background to resolve resident complaints. Prior experience in front desk support preferred. Prior concierge and/or event planning experience preferred. Fair Housing training (we can provide).
