The Health Information Management (HIM) Document Imaging Specialist Lead coordinates and oversees the activities performed by HIM Imaging Specialists. Working under limited supervision, this role ensures timely and accurate processing of documentation.

Essential Job Function
- Coordinates workflow and schedule of all Health Information Management (HIM) Imaging Specialists.
- Assists with educating others on proper HIM processes and procedures.
- Performs quality review of HIM documentation to ensure accuracy of information and data.
- Assists with the training and development of new hires in the department.
- Maintains logs for issues and complaints from both customers and employees and works with staff on resolutions.
- Assigns work, performs quality audits, and provides feedback to new hires.
- Assists with the training and development of new hires in the department to build job area skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Required: at least 1 year of scanning experience. Preferred: 2+ years of office experience.
