Responsibilities
- Develop psychotherapy plans with goals and objectives
- Serve as a member of the treatment team
- Provide consultative Services to team members, when appropriate
- Serve as a liaison between Community Youth Services and the biological families of our clients and when appropriate, provide family counseling sessions to the biological family and clients
- When necessary serve as a liaison between Community Youth Services and other community based treatment professionals
- Abide by company policy when receiving a subpoena for records and/or court appearances
- Attendance is an essential function of the job
- Other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in a Human Services field
- Within two years of October 17, 2007, have at least five years of experience in mental health treatment of children with emotional or behavioral disabilities and their families
- The employee should have a working knowledge and understanding of culture and its function in human behavior and society
- The employee shall deliver services that are sensitive to client's cultures
- The employee shall demonstrate the ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families in which they are helped to gain the skills and confidence to address any issues and problems they face
- Ability to set limits and maintain the helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet the needs of the person(s) served or other family
About our Line of Business
Additional Job Information
The Treatment Director must hold an active LCSW license and be immediately eligible to provide CSW supervision. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and supervision within foster care, behavioral health, or child welfare settings. This role requires the ability to step into supervisory responsibilities upon hire, including oversight of clinical staff, guidance on treatment planning, and compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements. Treatment Director will be responsible for carrying a outpatient workload of 10+ hours per week and launching outpatient clinics within other operations.
