Summary

The Solution Architect translates client requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan (staffing plan, high level schedule, etc.) and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings. At least five years of hands-on software development experience and / or technical leadership is preferred.

Role consists of: Collaborate with the Program Directors, Go to market and overall Accenture Team to plan and architect the overall delivery architecture and capabilities to support the service offerings. Sponsor/lead initiatives to deploy new architecture and capabilities across the teams as required for service offerings. Interact with the delivery organization(s) to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, and determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver. Ensure that delivery architecture is implemented according to policies/standards and solution is benchmarked against other Accenture deals. Soft Skills:

A keen planner and strategist with skills in identifying client/ business process needs and conceptualizing business solutions for achieving corporate goals. Efficient in mapping business requirements by interacting with senior management and stakeholder-clients. Coordinating with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with prospect's business requirements. Mentor and grow intermediate technical talent. Proficient written / verbal communication skills using English, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying levels of expertise throughout the organization and with potential business partners. Proficient ability to balance short and long-term business and technology objectives and to make trade-off decisions as needed. Technical Skills:

High level of technical design preparation, suggesting changes to the developers to have the best practices incorporated in design. Analyzing applications to be changed for particular business requirements. IT Pre-Sales functions encompassing preparation of technical & commercial proposals. Working with other members in the development team to determine changes and enhancement in solution scope. Interfacing with clients for the gathering of business requirements, conducting system analysis and finalizing technical / functional specifications and high level design documents for the project; contributing to the design, development, testing and troubleshooting of the application(s). Proficient ability to architect solutions that are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Proficient ability to analyze new technology and recommend adoption to address complex issues. Proficient ability to leverage external resources to solve problems. Provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plans, and serve as a lead as required, to implement the setup, customization and integration efforts. Knowledge in basic financial terms to provide indicative pricing / cost on solutions. Oversee aspects of project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within the solution area. Assist in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation within multiple technology areas. Consult and advise development teams on software development best practices. High degree of knowledge and experience in Digital Technologies (web, mobile, etc). Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with focus on complex calculations to back up solutions. Basic Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture and Planning. 12+ years of experience in designing and developing solutions that meet client needs.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
