Seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to support and optimize Oracle databases on AWS/Linux. The role involves database design, schema management, performance tuning, and supporting application modernization efforts.
Responsibilities:
Manage Oracle database instances on AWS/Linux. Design and maintain schemas, tables, and data structures. Configure and monitor Oracle databases, caching, and replication (GoldenGate). Perform backups/restores and ensure high availability and DR readiness. Collaborate with developers on SQL/PLSQL optimization and data modeling. Support Oracle Data Guard, Exadata, and ASM.
Required Skills:
7+ yrs Oracle DBA experience (schema design, tuning, performance). 2+ yrs Oracle on AWS/Linux platform. Strong in SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, ASM, and Exadata. Experience with backup/restore, storage planning, and on-call support.
