Real Estate Controller

$120,000–$170,000 + Performance Bonus

What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll lead and elevate the entire accounting function while driving efficiency and accuracy across a complex, multi-site portfolio.
Oversee all core accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, property-level accounting)
Own the financial close process and deliver timely, accurate GAAP reporting
Strengthen internal controls, policies, and audit readiness
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide business decisions
Manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and banking relationships
Drive systems improvements and automation initiatives to modernize finance operations
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Experience with property-level or multi-site accounting environments
Background in senior living, healthcare, multifamily, or real estate preferred
Strong command of GAAP and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills and experience with systems such as NetSuite, Yardi, Ramp, or Sage Intacct
A leadership style that is hands-on, strategic, and collaborative
