The Assistant Director of Events and Engagement leads the planning, execution and evaluation of USF College of Education signature events, serving as a key driver of audience engagement, brand experience and institutional visibility. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role oversees a comprehensive portfolio of college-wide events, ensuring each experience reflects the college’s mission and values and is strategically designed to advance its visibility and reputation.

The Assistant Director collaborates with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and serves as a trusted advisor, translating goals into engaging, well‑executed events. In partnership with marketing and communications, this role identifies opportunities to enhance engagement before, during and after events through integrated digital touchpoints and strategic follow‑up. The position is responsible for all aspects of event production, including concept development, timelines, logistics, run‑of‑show, vendor coordination and on‑site management, as well as event setup and breakdown.
