
Growth Specialist

The Growth Analyst/Specialist is responsible for building, qualifying, and sustaining a disciplined revenue pipeline that enables executive leadership to make informed decisions, maintain adequate coverage ratio, and prioritize bids. The Analyst focuses on opportunity qualification, pipeline hygiene, metrics reporting, and preliminary capture to support and execute growth initiatives across federal and commercial markets. This role requires the ability to pursue new opportunities while building strategic relationships and supporting capture efforts. This position is ideal for a high-energy, proactive, structured thinker who thrives on measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily market research using platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, GovWin, HigherGov, and agency forecasts).
Identify and qualify opportunities aligned with company capabilities and NAICS.
Maintain and update CRM / pipeline tracking tools.
Support gate reviews (Bid/No-Bid) with structured recommendations.
Track recompetes, contract expirations, and agency spending patterns.
Support development of teaming strategies and partner outreach.
Track action items tied to capture milestones.
Build relationships with industry partners, government stakeholders, and small business liaisons.
Represent the company at networking events, industry days, and conferences.
Conduct capability briefings and follow-up meetings.
Respond to RFIs, Market Research, and Sources Sought notifications as applicable.
Provide and track key growth metrics: Opportunities identified, opportunities qualified, pipeline value, preproposal and post proposal activities from draft to award status.
Support leadership with growth forecasting.
Required Qualifications
BS in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree)
3–6 years of experience supporting business development, capture, and/or growth operations in a federal contracting environment.
Demonstrated experience researching, qualifying, and tracking federal opportunities.
Experience working with IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, or task order environments.
Experience using BD research platforms (GovWin, HigherGov, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High organizational discipline and attention to detail.
Highly Desired Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD, DHS, or civilian agency contracts
Experience in professional services; engineering, logistics, financial management, and/or training
Understanding of small business programs
Federal procurement knowledge (FAR familiarity)
Opportunity qualification & pipeline management
CRM proficiency (Deltek preferred)
