Supervisory Responsibilities

Position Summary The Retail Marketing Coordinator is an early‑career role designed for individuals interested in retail marketing, digital merchandising, and omnichannel execution. This position supports the Marketing Manager in executing retail and digital marketing initiatives that enhance product visibility and customer engagement across online platforms. The Coordinator plays a hands‑on role in maintaining accurate product content, supporting retail partner platforms, coordinating visual assets, and assisting with digital shelf optimization efforts. Working closely with cross‑functional teams and retail partners, this role offers exposure to real‑world retail marketing execution, content management, and omnichannel strategy in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Digital Product Content & SEO Management
Support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of online product listings across DTC and retail partner platforms.
Ensure product content accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support strong digital shelf performance.
Assist with SEO and keyword optimization efforts to improve product discoverability.
Monitor site searchability and digital content health, identifying issues and coordinating updates with internal teams.
Retail Platform & Campaign Support
Support retailer‑driven digital advertising and promotional campaigns through coordination, execution assistance, and performance tracking.
Assist with retail partner communications related to content updates, promotions, and visibility initiatives.
Help coordinate retail marketing initiatives, seasonal programs, and event support as needed.
Visual Assets & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with the Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of visual assets, including product imagery and video, for online listings.
Assist with the creation, coordination, and maintenance of retailer availability videos, ensuring accuracy and alignment with retailer requirements.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure timely execution of retail marketing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
Digital marketing proficiency (SEO, PPC, social media)
Proficiency in data analysis tools
Proficiency of MS Office Products, Businessmap and Adobe - Photoshop
High level Business Communications Skills
Understanding of the omnichannel retail environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with big box retailers and digital marketing
Understanding of horticulture/live goods industry
2+ Years’ experience in account-based marketing or management
Job Setting & Physical Demands This is a primarily sedentary role that includes work in an indoor office environment as well as warehouse and outdoor settings. On occasion, the position may involve varying weather conditions, dust, and allergens. The role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, squat, and to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted and 50 pounds with assistance. Travel between locations may be required. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
