Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on insurance coverage options, including auto, home, life, business, and specialty lines.
Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business opportunities.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to assess insurance needs.
Prepare and present insurance proposals, policy changes, claims, and other customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and agency goals.
Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
Sales experience preferred but not required; training provided.
Current Property & Casualty plus Life, Health, and Annuities license or willingness to obtain one with district support. Must obtain P&C license prior to starting; study materials paid by Farmers District 61.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
