Our core product offering includes our signature brand of UL-listed Switch-Rated devices with DECONTACTOR™ technology and push-button circuit disconnection. These all-in-one devices combine the safety and functionality of a disconnect switch with the convenience of a plug and receptacle and can be safely connected and disconnected under full load.
We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the USA Southwest region. This Regional Sales manager manages the sales activities of factory sales organizations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Main responsibilities include:
Responsible for managing the sales organization and coordinating the business development efforts within his/her region.
Achieve continued rapid volume growth while also meeting established pricing objectives.
Work closely with the sales reps and key distributors, provide product and application expertise at joint sales calls to targeted customers and help close key sales opportunities.
Travel within territory 50-60% of the time.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Reports to: Director of Sales
Location: The Northwest Region (WA, OR, AK, MT, WY, CO, UT)
The Regional Sales Manager must reside in this region.
Candidate’s Profile
At least 10 years of relevant sales/sales management experience.
Experience working with independent sales reps and electrical distributors.
Familiarity with electrical, plug and receptable, disconnect switch products.
Familiarity with electrical codes and electrical safety regulations.
Breadth of Industrial knowledge (industries, applications, customer pain points, trends).
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other CRM software preferred.
Contract basics (terms, pricing, renewals).
A technical degree from a four-year college is preferred.
Ability to provide strategic leadership and thinking.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; active listener.
Highly motivated towards company sales goals.
High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
Ability to adjust to different markets/customers.
Solid teamwork skills.
Persuasive, confident, and positive attitude.
