
Commercial Electrician

Job Description
An equipment manufacturer is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code. This role is ideal for a safety‑focused professional with strong technical skills and experience working in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Install, maintain, repair, and replace electrical wiring systems and components
Inspect and test electrical systems, transformers, and circuit breakers
Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and perform repairs
Install EMT and rigid conduit, step‑down transformers, and perform conduit bending
Safely operate hand and power tools
Complete work orders, time sheets, and material documentation accurately and on time
Follow all safety standards and National Electrical Code requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Hourly rates range from $25-32/hr depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
Strong knowledge of up to 480V systems, 3‑phase power, and 120/240V systems
Proven experience bending conduit
Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
Experience working with DC voltage systems
Exposure to power generation environments or equipment
Trade school or formal technical training
Familiarity with control relays and PLCs
