About the Role As a Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, you'll play a crucial role in accelerating customer adoption. As an experienced technologist and integral member of the Account team, you will have the opportunity to influence customers' architectural decisions across various use cases, covering aspects like security, compute, storage networking, as well as advanced topics such as serverless computing, analytics, and AI/ML. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will help shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and extensive utilization of Amazon Web Services within large enterprises. Key responsibilities include: Owning technical engagements and ensuring the success of specific implementation projects. Collaborating cross-organizationally to drive widespread adoption of the AWS platform. Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies while gaining broad knowledge of how applications and services are built using the AWS platform. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer-facing skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to effectively communicate AWS's value to senior stakeholders, discussing trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies. Basic Qualifications 4+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure. 6+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). 6+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet industries. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a technical role within a sales organization. Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
