Position Overview The Project Coordinator is a key support position for the success of rPlus Energies projects and the entire development team. This position will assist two to three Development Managers in their progress toward successful pre‑construction, financial close, and hand‑off to construction. The person in this position will be expected to be innovative, independent, self‑motivated, and goal‑oriented when determining the best approach to creating solid relationships, growing trust with stakeholders, and successfully managing processes and deliverables. Position is in‑office in Salt Lake City, Utah and requires on average 30%–50% travel to project site locations.

General Responsibilities

Assist with obtaining site control for solar projects, working through land title curative work, obtaining pre‑construction environmental and technical studies, and coordinating project design.

Creation and advancement of various project development deliverables across the project lifecycle including permit applications, interconnection requests, RFP submittals, environmental study efforts, and coordination of land control/title curative efforts.

Coordinate permitting process, inclusive of writing permit applications with detailed project descriptions and project impacts.

Participate in and support due diligence of new project opportunities, greenfield projects, or asset acquisitions.

Assist development managers with internal/external reporting requirements and tracking project‑level obligations.

Review and maintain project records, including internal/external reports, and support budget processes.

Support administration of document library and contract administration tools.

Manage coordination between legal and development departments to ensure compliance with service and supply agreements with third‑party vendors.

Skill Requirements

2‑4 years of work experience in renewable energy development, real estate, or other related equivalent experience preferred.

Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Expertise in document management best practices and data room administration.

Strong knowledge of business fundamentals, techniques of economic analysis, and a solid understanding of wholesale electricity markets, corporate renewable energy procurement, and renewable energy development.

Bachelor's degree with a focus on energy/land management or relevant environmental/renewable energy coursework preferred; Master’s degree or PMP a plus; GIS experience is a plus.

Strategic thinker with problem‑solving capabilities.

Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
