We’re looking for a true “left and right brained” advertising creative who not only loves diving deep into the customer mindset and insights, but also enjoys translating those insights into effective creative work. You’ll help refine and disseminate American’s brand principles across various channels and initiatives to boost performance and better connect with consumers.

What you'll do
Partner with our advertising agency in researching and compiling market and pop culture insights to support business objectives related to advancing creative influence on purchase decision
Assist in crafting clear, actionable creative briefs that align with business objectives and guide the internal creative team toward innovative solutions.
Collaborate with agency partners, in-house art directors, marketing, design and content teams on campaign development and ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment across all creative approaches.
Ensure that all internal stakeholders understand how to apply brand framework and philosophy to all customer and team member touchpoints
Collaborate with legal to ensure all creative outputs adhere to established brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across digital, print, and experiential channels.
Understand content best practices across paid and organic social channels to boost performance and brand love.
All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business/marketing/advertising, or equivalent experience/training
2+ years of work experience and a creative portfolio of previous advertising campaigns
Understanding of visual and written brand consistency and the ability to adapt tone and style to resonate with target audiences
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Creative advertising agency background
Prior experience working cross functionally and with all levels of stakeholders
Willingness to learn, expand your skill set and embrace change
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Strong organization and attention to detail
