Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Funeral Director and Embalmer, located in Naples, FL. The Funeral Director and Embalmer will oversee and manage all funeral and embalming operations, including coordinating with families to plan services, conducting arrangements, performing embalming duties, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities also include maintaining all associated documentation, providing exceptional client service, managing logistical details, and ensuring a smooth and respectful experience for grieving families.
Qualifications
Proficiency in funeral service practices, including funeral planning, embalming, and preparation of remains
A strong understanding of state, federal laws, and regulations governing funeral services and embalming
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide support and guidance to grieving families
Organizational and attention to detail for managing logistical aspects of services and accurate documentation
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality
Current state licensure as a Funeral Director and Embalmer
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
Experience in funeral home operations or similar roles is preferred
