As the Director of Global Supply Chain for our client, you will evolve an end-to-end strategy for a growing, high-impact global manufacturer. If you are a high-octane leader ready to transform a "functional" department into a "systemic" powerhouse, this is your opportunity to scale international operations and deliver world-class reliability.

Why Join Our Client?

Our client is a leader in the global manufacturing space where operational excellence meets a purpose-driven mission. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will have the autonomy to design, optimize, and scale a supply chain that supports cutting-edge innovation and sustainable growth.

  • Strategic Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing high-stakes decisions on cost, risk, and global expansion.
  • Transformational Leadership: Lead the shift toward advanced supply chain maturity through data analytics, ERP optimization, and Lean principles.
  • Operational Excellence: Work in a sophisticated, regulated manufacturing environment where "operational discipline" defines the competitive edge.

Your Impact

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle for a global footprint. You will:

  • Architect Global Strategy: Design and execute scalable sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics roadmaps that align with 5-year growth plans.
  • Optimize Value & Risk: Negotiate aggressive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives while proactively mitigating geopolitical and capacity risks.
  • Drive Lean Transformation: Champion Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and Kanban systems to eliminate waste and drastically reduce COGS and WIP inventory.
  • Master Supplier Performance: Develop KPIs and external projects that drive accountability, service excellence, and 80/20 SKU rationalization.
  • Empower High-Performing Teams: Mentor and scale a talented team of Buyers, fostering a culture of humility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Bridge Cross-Functional Gaps: Partner with Innovation, Quality, and Finance to ensure supply chain agility matches the pace of new product development.

What You Bring

We are seeking a seasoned leader who thrives in regulated global manufacturing environments and possesses a "systemic" view of international operations.

  • Experience: 8–10 years of progressive supply chain leadership, specifically within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations (MBA preferred).
  • Negotiation Mastery: A proven track record of driving cost savings and enhancing supplier performance in growth-oriented, global organizations.
  • Lean Expertise: Hands‑on experience with the Shingo Model, should‑cost analysis, and RCCA to deliver measurable supplier improvements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of S&OP processes and ERP/MRP system optimization.
  • Mindset: A strategic "in-sourcing" mindset focused on design control and speed‑to‑market.

Ready to Lead the Evolution?

If you are an expert at linking supply chain initiatives to global business outcomes and want to lead a team that values transparency and innovation, we want to meet you.
