Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced Channel Sales Director to join our U.S. Government Solutions (USGS) Platform Enablement Team. For 50 years, CGI has partnered with U.S. state, local, and K–12 organizations to deliver technology solutions that enhance government operations and citizen services. Within USGS, we collaborate with a defined ecosystem of strategic partners whose capabilities complement and elevate CGI’s value in the government market. This role is responsible for strengthening, maturing, and expanding those partnerships to accelerate revenue growth and maximize the potential of our joint go‑to‑market strategies. This opportunity is ideal for a highly collaborative, relationship‑driven channel leader who excels at orchestrating joint sales motions, developing partner account plans, and driving measurable pipeline and revenue through consistent partner engagement and execution.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
Partnership Growth & Relationship Management
- Deepen relationships with a portfolio of existing strategic partners, including technology providers and select system integrators.
- Drive alignment on joint market priorities through structured quarterly business reviews.
- Maintain visibility into partner performance and market impact.
Joint Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
- Facilitate collaboration between CGI sales/capture teams and partner account executives.
- Integrate partner capabilities into pursuits, proposals, and solution strategies.
- Lead joint pipeline development through coordinated opportunity identification, account planning, and campaign creation.
- Coordinate partner enablement activities, including training, solution positioning, and co‑marketing, ensuring partners clearly understand CGI’s capabilities.
Collaboration With USGS Alliances Strategic Alliance Manager (SAM)
- Work closely with the Alliances team to ensure partner agreements, product integrations, and due diligence support channel sales objectives.
- Provide sales-driven feedback to inform partner performance evaluations by the SAM.
- Operationalize GTM strategies for newly onboarded partners.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 25% travel to support relationship development, partner meetings, events, conferences, and internal collaboration.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- 10+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, alliances, or strategic sales roles.
- Proven success driving pipeline and revenue through partner ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. state and local government market, procurement processes, and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to manage executive-level partner relationships and lead complex cross‑functional initiatives.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and influence skills; effective in matrixed environments.
- Experience in a high‑paced, dynamic sales environment is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse groups.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) marketplace and related software solutions.
Compensation Range
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,300.00 – $169,700.00.
