Overview
Our client is a well-established U.S.-based company with over 75 years in business. Their instruments are used for test & measurement in a variety of industries. Primarily selling to large manufacturing, DOD, academia and pharma/biotech. They are the market leader in their industry. The position covers MD, DC and VA.
Responsibilities
- In-person customer engagements; this is a very demo-heavy role.
- Travel within the MD, DC, VA territory with about 25% overnight travel.
- Demonstrate products and articulate value to customers in manufacturing, defense, academia and pharma/biotech sectors.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of capital equipment sales experience calling on the customer base mentioned above
- Must be willing to be in front of customers; this is a very demo-heavy role; this is not a virtual sales role
- BS Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science
- Located in the territory and able to travel 25% overnight
